FRONT OF HOUSE ASSISTANT
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with a positive demeanour to work on a busy and varied reception and be the face of E.J. Churchill, an award winning clay shooting ground. The ideal candidate will be a team player, who will be able to work well under pressure and enjoys being around people in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Answering enquiries via telephone and email
· Booking of lessons and tuition
· Organisation of all CPSA competitions
· Assisting with events and competitions
· Booking of external staff
· Late night shooting (Summer only)
· Driving Membership sales
· Food and beverage orders
· Cashing up of tills
· Processing vouchers
· Invoicing
· Processing payments
· Keeping Reception and bar area clean and presentable
· Ensuring bar snacks, drinks and food are ordered in timely manner
Knowledge & Skills:
· Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
· Ability to multi-task
· Be able to work well under pressure
· Outstanding customer service etiquette
· 1 year of front of house reception experience would be preferred

EVENT SUPPORT
We are currently recruiting for an engaging an energetic Events Co-ordinator to join the busy events team to deliver our World class events.
As well as ensuring our events run smoothly you will play a key part within the team. You will have excellent attention to detail and be highly organised. You will stay focused and have the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines, and will be able to find creative solutions to challenges.
Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for the safety and welfare of everyone at the event, including contractors, staff, colleagues, clients, guests, volunteers and the public

SPORTING AGENT
E.J. Churchill are looking to recruit a new Sporting Agent to join our reputable and award-winning business based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate with a huge passion for the shooting industry along with outstanding customer service and always looking to go above and beyond to exceed clients’ expectations.
Experience in the shooting industry is desirable, along with commercial & business acumen, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives being a team player and who has a keen eye for detail!

Main duties of the Sporting Agent

Provide support to the sporting department whilst reporting to the Sporting Manager

Build relationships with new and existing clients and assisting them with all there sporting requirements.

Market shoot days to new and existing clients

Create presentations for trips and shoot days we are selling

Hosting shoot days in the field throughout the season both in the U.K. and Abroad, whilst ensuring the safetyand welfare of everyone on the day and client’s expectations are been exceeded at every opportunity.

Dealing with high end customers

Assist with additional department requirements –Loading, caddy rounds, simulated days and sporting events at the groundsand other estates

Overseeing the sales process and days shooting you are hosting from start to finish

Prepare all relevant paperwork for the days shooting whilst keeping both clientsand members of the department informed.

Client communication is essential from the initial enquiry till they depart at the end of the days shooting.

Marketing Manager
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Marketing Manager to drive the E.J. Churchill marketing initiative and brand presence.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the company's marketing initiatives using market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. They will also oversee the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns from the Digital Marketing & Design Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities

Groundsperson (High Wycombe)

2023 is shaping up to be an incredible year for the E.J Churchill grounds team, who will play a pivotal role in this year’s World English Sporting Championships July, The Game Fair at Ragley Hall, as well as a host of other large charity shoot days here and around the country.
As a member of the E.J. Churchill grounds team you will play an essential role in the development of the ground, improving its aesthetic value to the company and ensuring traps are kept full of clays and operational at all times. The ground staff are required to carry out work off site and on other estates and other areas of the E.J. Churchill group.

Salary: From £19,000.00 – £24,000.00 /year depending on experience.

Groundsperson (Swinton Estate)
E.J. Churchill at the Swinton Estate are currently recruiting a Grounds Person to assist with the development of the grounds to improve their aesthetic value to the company. The ground staff play a central role in ensuring traps are kept full of clays and operational at all times. The ground staff are required to carry out work off site and on other estates and other areas of the E.J. Churchill group. It is expected that the ground staff will become a recognised expert in the maintenance and installation of traps and layout design. A valid UK driving license is essential.
