YOUNG GUNS ACADEMY
For excitement, challenge and friendship, clay pigeon shooting is bang on target. Become one of our ‘next generation’ of young shots and experience the buzz for yourself.
Running on selected Tuesdays throughout the school holidays, there are two sessions available each day: 9am - 12 noon and 1pm - 4pm and these both include shotgun shooting and air rifle shooting!

9.00am/1:00pm – Arrive at E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground
9.20am/1:20pm – Young Guns are introduced to their instructor and given a safety briefing
9.30am/1:30pm – Shooting commences
10.30am/2:30pm – Young Guns return to the lodge for a bacon roll and juice
10.45am/2:45pm – Shooting re-commences
11.45am/3:45pm – Young Guns return to the lodge and have a debrief with their instructor
12.00pm/4pm – Young Guns depart

We allow up to 5 per group and they are accompanied by our qualified instructors at all times.

CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
As part of your Young Guns Academy Experience, you will enjoy an hours clay pigeon shooting tuition with one of our world-class instructors. Not only will you be taught all the basics you need to know about the sport, but we will get you smashing the clays!
Upcoming Dates
AIR RIFLE RANGE
The Air Rifle Range is 25m long and is great fun and suitable for everyone from the age of 9 years old. Each firing point features a height adjustable rotating chair and sand bag rifle rest, great for novice shooters!

The range is abundant with various spinning and shoot to re-set targets, so a perfect setting for introducing juniors to shooting.
