E.J. Churchill at The Swinton Estate
We are regarded as one of the finest shooting providers in the World and so we are delighted to announce that as of 7th October 2019 we will be opening the E.J. Churchill shooting ground at The Swinton Estate.
The Swinton Estate is one of the largest privately owned estates in England, situated near Masham in North Yorkshire and stretching over 20,000 acres from the River Ure in Wensleydale up onto the moors. It has been owned by the Cunliffe-Lister family since the 1880s and comprises Swinton Park, the 32-room castle hotel, Swinton Cookery School, the adjacent Country Club & Spa and Swinton Bivouac, the estate’s tree lodge and glamping retreat. The Estate offers guests and visitors a wide range of outdoor pursuits including walking, horse riding, mountain biking, falconry and fishing.
