Our northern ground at The Swinton Estate features over 100 automated Claymate traps, high towers, a grouse butt simulated area, skeet range, and a variety of sporting and sportrap layouts. Open for practice, lessons, and competitions, the ground also has an on-site shop with quality shooting products.

Shooting Lessons
Well-known for our welcoming atmosphere and friendly, relaxed approach, our team has the ability to instruct both complete novices and experienced shots at our shooting grounds as well as offer in-field instruction throughout the UK.

If you are a complete beginner, the Have-A-Go is the perfect lesson for you. Your instructor will teach you all the basics, from safety to hitting the clays!

Caddied Rounds
When you arrive at reception, you’ll be introduced to your caddy, who will accompany you around the ground. They will operate the buttons, carry any equipment you need, and help choose the right stands for you.

Directions
By Road
Use postcode HG4 4BL. From the A1(M), take the A61 towards Ripon, then follow local signs for Masham and Swinton Estate. The shooting ground is signposted as you approach. Parking is available on site.
BY Train
The nearest stations are Harrogate and Northallerton. From either station, a taxi to the shooting ground takes around 30–40 minutes.
