George Digweed MBE joins E.J. Churchill as Global Shooting Ambassador

I am delighted to announce that George Digweed MBE is joining our award winning team as our Global Shooting Ambassador.

George’s success within clay shooting is unrivalled. He is an unbelievable 26-time World Champion, 18-time European Champion and is a veteran of 116 international championships. He is unequalled in the shooting world and his accomplishments extend beyond clay shooting; he is considered one of the finest game shots in the country.

In his role as Global Shooting Ambassador, George will guide new developments at the shooting ground and help us enhance our customer experiences. For the first time ever George will be stepping aside from competing and will instead be leading our team in setting the targets for the CPSA World English Sporting Championships 2018, held here at the E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground and on the picturesque West Wycombe Estate. This is an epic task with over 200 Promatic clay pigeon traps being set, for what will be one of the finest festivals of shooting the world will have seen.

With the proposed British Shooting Centre of Excellence and UK and Overseas business expansion opportunities, George will come into his own. He will be working closely with our expert shooting instructors to develop their skills, as well as providing masterclass tuition for clay and game shooters.

George is a true legend and we are excited to have such a knowledgeable, passionate Global Shooting Ambassador join our team. I am sure you will wish him all the best when you see him and I look forward to seeing you at the shooting ground soon.

Make I take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year and all the best for 2018.
