Rob Fenwick Speaks at Bremont Event
Speaking amidst the stunning interiors of the new Bremont Mayfair boutique, this exclusive event unearthed the facts about the heritage of British gun making and shotgun shooting, and at the same time promoted a proud partnership between two very British brands.
Voted top 75 shots in the country by The Field magazine in 2011 and 2012, Rob Fenwick shared his passion and knowledge of shooting with an expectant audience. Kicking off with some key facts, Rob highlighted the importance of the shooting industry which is worth £1.6 billion to the UK economy, and provides 70,000 full time jobs. Nearly 600,000 people in the UK hold a shotgun certificate, with almost half a million shooting live quarry.
Rob took the audience back to the early days of shooting, from the evolution of the mechanisms that build the shotgun to addressing the iconic names in gun making including Westley Richards, Thomas Boss, James Purdey and of course, E. J. Churchill: gun makers who all played their part in shaping the industry into what it is today.
Building on these foundations, E. J. Churchill is regarded as one of the world’s finest gun makers and is the only shooting ground in the UK that boasts its own gun making facility, shooting ground, corporate entertainment company and sporting agency.
