There’s something special about Christmas time at E.J. Churchill. The ground turns into a winter retreat where the air feels crisp, fires glow and lights twinkle.

Our festive shooting packages are open to everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned pros. Try a two hour burst of fun, perfect for small groups or families, or go all out with a full day that includes a two course Christmas lunch. It’s a great way for teams or friends to mark the season in style.
​
Not into shooting? No problem. The countryside setting, cosy lodge and heated terrace make it easy to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Book a festive lunch, stop by for coffee and cake, or just soak up the views.
​
From small gatherings to big celebrations, every event feels personal, a chance to unwind, connect and make memories. The Pavilion can host up to 300 guests, while the lodge dining room offers warm, rustic charm. Add ons like gin tastings, flower workshops or open fire cooking make your celebration extra special.

And if you don’t want Christmas to end, event packages can be booked right through to 31 January 2026.

The Yuletide Shoot begins with hot drinks and bacon rolls before guests head to the stands for two hours of clay shooting. The session is tailored to every ability and includes an hour of practice with our experienced instructors, followed by personalised tuition and friendly team competitions.
​
Each guest receives an E.J. Churchill branded cap and full safety equipment, with 80 clays and cartridges included.Seasonal touches complete the experience, with mince pies and mulled wine served along the way. Guests also have access to our decorated veranda, a welcoming space to gather and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
