Christmas Family Fun Day 1st December
E. J. Churchill Shooting Ground kicked off the festive season with a bang at its annual Christmas Family Fun Day on Saturday 1st December! The shooting ground opened its doors for the day to offer a festive and fun-filled experience for all the family. With a whole host of activities to choose from, guests could try their hand at clay pigeon shooting, even the kids could have a go! And for the more experienced shooter, a 50 ESP competition was held with winners split into three categories:
Top Gun: William Hewland
Top Lady: Lucy Swallow
Top Junior: George Wood.
An exciting off-road driving experience, provided by Lookers Land Rover of Park Royal, took guests through the woodland around a course of steep terrain and deep water in the comfort of new Land Rover models. Kids were entertained in the lodge where they made Christmas cards, decorated gingerbread men and made paper chains. Mulled wine, mince pies and samples of exquisite smoked salmon from Caviar House and Prunier were served by the fires in the lodge keeping guests warm all day! Even Santa took time out of his busy schedule to pop in and meet the children to find out what they hoped they would be getting for Christmas!
Thank you to everyone who came along to the Family Fun Day. We hope hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did! Thanks also to Lookers Land Rover, Park Royal, for showcasing some of their new top of the range vehicles and for providing a great off-roading experience for all the family!
