Charity Events and Shoots
Our team are dedicated to supporting the charities we work with all year round not only during the run up to your charity shoot. Past ventures include our Managing Director stepping into the ring at a White Collar Boxing Dinner, our Events Manager running the Paris Marathon, and our Marketing Coordinator running Edinburgh Marathon and cycling the RideLondon-Surrey 100 mile bike ride for Breakthrough Breast Cancer! As a company we also annually raise money for Macmillian Cancer Care hosting a Macmillian Coffee Morning.
Since our inception in 1989 we have helped raise millions of pounds for charitable causes and our clients return to us year after year because we guarantee to provide guests with a wonderful experience and a flawless day out, and of course help you to raise as much money as possible.
Our charity fund raising days are always individual and inspirational. Our extensive grounds allows us to add additional activities to take part in during the day and entertainment during your reception. We work with top industry caterers to ensure the hospitality is first class and our young vibrant team mean we are never short of a new fundraising idea.
Typical Event Itinerary
The emphasis of all our charity days is to have fun and raise as much money for your charity. The format of the day can be tailored to suit your individual requirements with a course designed to meet your guests’ abilities. No event is too big or small, we can serve breakfast, lunch or dinner in the lodge, with seating up to 100 people, for more guests we just require the addition of a marquee on our lawn.
Your guests are invited to attend the competition as part of a team of 4 or 5 guns; we design a course made up a variety of targets, manage the registration, scoring system and results. Leaving you the freedom to mingle and enjoy the day as one of the guests.
For a full day an example itinerary might be:
9am Your guests arrive at the shooting ground; where they will be greeted by the event host and briefed on the day’s events.
Breakfast of bacon rolls and Danish pastries are served with tea and coffee.
10am Clay shooting competition commences, with the teams making their way around a sign posted course. At each of the shooting stands, one of our professional shooting instructors will offer help and advice to the guests. For smaller events we will assign each team their own instructor who escorts the group all day.
1pm Drinks reception and bar opens for those who have finished shooting for the day.
2pm Shooting competition finishes for everyone followed by lunch. The style of catering will be suited to your day; from relaxed BBQ, salads, bowl food, sharing platters, champagne and canapes to served 3 course sit down lunches.
Now would be the opportunity for the charity to hold a prize giving, auction, silent auction or raffle; our very persuasive Managing Director is always on hand to help!
